The 90° Frameless Glass Stabiliser is used wherever two glass panels, or a glass panel and a fixed wall or structure, meet at a right angle and require lateral bracing. It clamps onto the glass to prevent flex and wobble, keeping each panel rigid and stable throughout the balustrade run.
In a frameless glass system, lateral stability is critical — unsupported glass panels can flex under load or wind pressure, which is both a safety concern and a compliance issue. The stabiliser addresses this by creating a rigid connection at the 90° junction, transferring lateral forces between the two panels or between the panel and the fixed structure, so neither can move independently of the other.
The 90° configuration is one of the most commonly used stabiliser types, appearing at every corner where a frameless glass balustrade turns through a right angle — deck corners, balcony returns, and any right-angle change of direction in the glass run.
Manufactured in Grade 316 Marine Grade stainless steel with a mirror polish finish, suitable for all outdoor, coastal, and poolside frameless glass installations.
