Stage 1 — Research & Planning

Most of our customers find us while researching DIY balustrade options online. You’re probably comparing costs, looking at different materials, and wondering whether you’re really capable of doing this yourself. That’s completely normal — and you’ve come to the right place.

At this stage, we encourage you to:

  • Browse our product range and read the detailed specifications.
  • Download or read our How to Measure Guide before taking any measurements.
  • Read our Helpful Hints to understand what the project will involve.
  • Check our FAQ for answers to common questions.
  • Call or email us with any questions — there are no silly questions when you’re planning a safety-critical project.

Stage 2 — Getting Your Quote

Once you’ve taken your measurements and have an idea of what you need, you can either:

  • Build your own order directly in our online store, or
  • Send us your measurements and project description and ask us to help compile your component list.

We’ll provide a clear, itemised quote. No hidden costs, no pressure. We’d rather you take the time to get it right than feel rushed into ordering.

Stage 3 — Placing Your Order

When you’re ready, you can place your order directly through our website. The process is straightforward:

  1. Add the required items to your cart.
  2. Proceed to checkout and enter your delivery address.
  3. Review your order summary — including shipping cost and estimated delivery timeframe.
  4. Complete payment using your preferred method.
  5. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately.

If you’d prefer to place your order by phone or email, we’re happy to assist you through the process.

Stage 4 — Manufacturing & Preparation (10 – 15 Working Days)

This is where the magic happens. Unlike big-box retailers selling off-the-shelf stock, our components are manufactured specifically for your order. This means everything is prepared to professional standards and checked for quality before it leaves our workshop.

During this period, you don’t need to do anything — but if you have any questions or need to make a change to your order, contact us as early as possible. Changes cannot be accommodated once manufacturing has commenced.

Stage 5 — Dispatch & Delivery (2 – 3 Working Days)

Once your order is complete and quality-checked, it is carefully packed and handed to our courier. You will receive a dispatch notification with your tracking number. Most deliveries reach major urban areas within 2 – 3 working days of dispatch. Regional areas may take slightly longer.

Please ensure someone is available at your delivery address to receive the order. If a delivery is unsuccessful, re-delivery fees may apply.

Stage 6 — Receiving Your Order

When your delivery arrives:

  • Inspect the outer packaging for any signs of transit damage before signing the delivery note.
  • Open the packaging and check all items against your order confirmation.
  • If any items are missing or damaged, photograph them immediately and contact us within 48 hours.
  • Lay out all components in a clear, dry space before beginning installation.

Stage 7 — Installation

Now it’s your turn. With the right preparation, accurate measurements, and our guides to hand, most DIYers complete a standard deck or balcony balustrade over a weekend.
