Coverplate – Round – 50.8mm

The 50.8mm Round Coverplate is the finishing detail that transforms a functional bolt-down post into a polished, professional installation. It slides over the post and sits flat on the floor surface directly on top of the base plate, concealing the fixing bolts and flange beneath a clean stainless steel cover.

Choose from two styles to suit your design:

Decorative features a stepped, profiled shape with a sculpted, etched appearance that adds a refined, considered detail at the base of the post. It suits both contemporary and classic balustrade designs where a little character at ground level is welcome.

Domed has a smooth, gently curved profile with no surface detailing — clean, minimal, and unobtrusive. It is the preferred choice for modern architectural installations where simplicity and restraint are the design language.

Both styles require no fixings. Once the post is secured to the ground, slide the coverplate down into position over the base plate before fitting the saddle, top rail, or infills. It sits tight around the post and flat against the floor, holding itself naturally in place. The base plate remains fully accessible at any time — simply slide the coverplate upward along the post to reach it.

Both styles are manufactured in Grade 316 Marine Grade stainless steel with a mirror polish finish, suitable for all outdoor applications including coastal environments, poolside installations, and any area exposed to salt air or moisture.

Installation Note

Slide the coverplate onto the post before attaching the saddle, top rail, or any infill components — it cannot be threaded on afterwards. Once the post is secured to the ground, simply slide the coverplate down into its final position over the base plate at any point before the top rail and infills are fitted.
