Basic Tensioner – 110mm

The 110mm Basic Tensioner is the longer-thread version of the basic tensioner, providing a greater range of tension adjustment for longer cable runs or installations where a wider margin of adjustment is needed between minimum and maximum tension. It threads into the post and accepts the swaged cable end — turning the tensioner body draws the cable tighter to the correct tension, with the additional 45mm of thread over the 65mm version giving significantly more adjustment range before the thread runs out of engagement.

On longer cable runs, the additional thread length matters — more cable means more potential for relaxation over time, and having more thread in reserve ensures the tensioner can be tightened further as needed without running out of adjustment range. The 110mm tensioner is the recommended choice for runs of any significant length where long-term re-tensioning is a consideration.

As with the 65mm version, no special tools are required — a standard spanner or adjustable wrench is sufficient to tension and re-tension the cable at any point in the life of the installation.
