Angle Fitting for New Swage

The Angle Fitting for Swage redirects a 4mm stainless steel cable at an angle as it passes through a post, allowing the cable run to change direction without kinking, fraying, or placing lateral stress on the cable at the post hole. It is an essential fitting for any cable balustrade installation where the cable does not run in a perfectly straight horizontal line — most commonly on raking staircases, skew balconies, angled deck perimeters, and any installation where the post geometry requires the cable to enter and exit at different angles.

Without an angle fitting, threading a cable through a straight post hole at an angle places the cable under stress at the point of contact with the hole edge — over time this can cause wear and fraying at that point, which is both a structural concern and a maintenance issue. The angle fitting provides a smooth, guided redirect that protects the cable and ensures it exits the post at the correct angle cleanly and without contact stress.
