Threaded Woodscrew – Bolt

The Threaded Woodscrew Bolt is used to attach cable tensioners to timber posts in cable balustrade systems. It screws directly into the timber post, providing the threaded fixing point that the tensioner body engages with — allowing the cable to be tensioned and adjusted as needed without any drilling or tapping of the timber post itself.

Left hand and right hand thread versions are both available and are used together in cable tensioning systems where opposite thread directions on either side of the tensioner allow the tensioner to be tightened by turning in a single direction — tightening on one side while the other resists backing out. Order both left and right hand versions together for a complete tensioner assembly on a timber post.

Manufactured in Grade 316 Marine Grade stainless steel, suitable for all outdoor and coastal timber post installations.
