Spigot – Threaded Rod (M20) – Round – 50mm

The 50mm Round Threaded Rod Spigot is a floor-mounted frameless glass support designed to hold 12mm glass panels directly without the need for a separate post or top rail system. The glass slides into the pre-formed jaw at the top of the round spigot body and is held securely in place, creating the clean, unobstructed aesthetic of a true frameless glass balustrade.

The M20 threaded rod fixing method passes through the base plate and is bolted down from below, making this spigot particularly well suited to timber decks, composite decking, raised platforms, and any substrate where access beneath the floor allows under-fixing. The square base plate sits flush on the floor surface, and the round spigot body rises cleanly above it — a purposeful, architectural detail that is as visible as it is structural.

304 Brushed Satin and 304 Mirror Polish are suited to inland and non-coastal environments — residential interiors, covered outdoor areas, and any application where salt air and coastal moisture are not a factor.

316 Marine Grade Mirror Polish is the essential choice for coastal properties, poolside installations, and all outdoor environments exposed to salt air, humidity, or chemicals. If you are in Cape Town, the Winelands, Durban, or any coastal area, Grade 316 is strongly recommended.

Matt Black is a powder-coated stainless steel finish suited to contemporary design schemes where a dark, bold spigot provides a deliberate contrast against light-coloured glass and decking — increasingly popular in modern residential and commercial installations.
