Side Mounted Bolt – Hollow – 50mm

The Hollow Face Side Mounted Bolt fixes 12mm frameless glass panels to a wall or solid structure with the threaded rod passing fully through the hollow bolt body and through the pre-drilled hole in the glass. Unlike the solid face bolt where the tightening mechanism is concealed behind the face plate, the hollow bolt body is open through its full length — the threaded rod is visible passing through the centre of the face, with the bolt body acting as a decorative sleeve and spacer around the rod.

This design makes the hollow bolt the most straightforward of the three types from an installation perspective — the rod passes through the body, through the glass, and into the wall fixing in a single, continuous pass, with no separate internal tightening mechanism. The hollow face also makes it the most economical option in the range, suited to applications where a clean, functional fixing is required without the premium of a fully concealed or front-tightening mechanism.

The open face of the hollow bolt gives it a distinctly different visual character from the solid face version — the visible rod through the centre reads as a mechanical, industrial detail that suits exposed-structure and warehouse-style design schemes alongside more conventional residential applications.

Choose from four finish options to suit your design:

304 Brushed Satin and 304 Mirror Polish are suited to inland and non-coastal environments.

316 Marine Grade Mirror Polish is essential for coastal properties, poolside installations, and all outdoor environments exposed to salt air or moisture.

Matt Black (304) is a powder-coated stainless steel finish for contemporary design schemes where a bold, dark fixing detail is preferred.
