The 40 x 40mm Square Pipe Infill Weld Stanchion (15.88mm) is pre-drilled to accept the slightly larger 15.88mm round infill tubing, producing a bolder, more substantial infill pattern within the square post frame. The 15.88mm infill diameter pairs particularly well with the 40 x 40mm post, creating a proportionally balanced composition where post and infill feel visually matched rather than mismatched in scale.

This combination is a strong choice for outdoor applications such as pool surrounds, entertainment decks, and exposed balconies where both structural robustness and visual presence matter. Once welded in position, the 15.88mm infill tubes form a fully rigid, permanently fixed assembly that requires no ongoing attention to mechanical connections or fittings.

The post bolts down to the ground via the included flange — no floor welding required. Each pack includes the base plate, cover plate, and saddle bracket. Infill tubing, top rail, fixing hardware, and end caps are all sold separately.

Grade 304 is strong and reliable, suited to internal applications and external use in non-coastal, non-corrosive environments — ideal for inland areas such as Johannesburg, Pretoria, and most non-coastal suburbs.

Grade 316 (Marine Grade) offers superior corrosion resistance and is the essential choice for coastal properties, poolside installations, and any environment exposed to salt air, moisture, or chemicals. If you are in Cape Town, the Winelands, Durban, or any coastal area, Grade 316 is strongly recommended.
