The 38.1mm Round Pipe Infill Weld Stanchion (15.88mm) is pre-drilled to accept 15.88mm round infill tubing, offering a slightly bolder infill diameter in the slimmer 38.1mm post profile. The contrast between the refined post and the slightly thicker infill tubes creates a balanced, well-proportioned look that works well in both residential and light commercial applications.

This combination is a good choice where a touch more visual weight in the infill is desired without committing to the larger 50.8mm post — keeping the overall design light and open while still delivering a confident, substantial infill pattern. Once the 15.88mm infill tubes are inserted and welded in position, the result is a rigid, permanently fixed balustrade that requires no ongoing maintenance of mechanical connections.

The post bolts down via the included flange — no welding to the ground or structure is required. Each pack includes the base plate, cover plate, and saddle bracket. Infill tubing, top rail, fixing hardware, and end caps are all sold separately.

Grade 316 (Marine Grade) offers superior corrosion resistance and is the essential choice for coastal properties, poolside installations, and any environment exposed to salt air, moisture, or chemicals. If you are in Cape Town, the Winelands, Durban, or any coastal area, Grade 316 is strongly recommended.
