The Scotch Brite Coarse Maroon Polish Belt is a non-woven conditioning belt for cleaning, blending, and conditioning stainless steel surfaces. Unlike conventional abrasive belts, the non-woven construction of the Scotch Brite belt conforms to the surface and works it consistently without the risk of over-grinding or creating uneven scratch patterns — making it ideal for surface preparation, cleaning, and finishing work where control and consistency are more important than aggressive material removal.

The Coarse Maroon grade is excellent for removing oxidation, weld discolouration, surface marks, and heat tint from stainless steel, leaving a consistent, even satin finish across the treated area. It is used between the abrasive belt stages and the polishing compound stages to condition and unify the surface before polishing begins — and can also serve as a final finish in its own right for installations where a clean, consistent brushed satin result is the intended outcome.

At R98.00 it is the premium belt in the range, reflecting the specialist non-woven construction and the broader range of applications it covers compared to a standard abrasive belt. Sold individually.
