End Cap – Weld on – Round – 50.8mm

The 50.8mm Round Weld-On End Cap provides a permanent, fully welded termination for open ends of 50.8mm round stainless steel tubing. Unlike knock-in caps, this cap has no inner stem — it is a flat plate that sits over the tube end and is welded around the circumference, creating a solid, fixed seal that becomes part of the tube itself.

Weld-on caps are the preferred choice in fully welded balustrade systems where every connection in the assembly is welded rather than press-fitted, and a permanently closed tube end is required. The welded finish, when ground and polished correctly, is completely flush and seamless — indistinguishable from the tube wall itself.

This cap is intended for use by installers with access to TIG or MIG welding equipment. The post-weld finish should be ground smooth and polished to match the mirror finish of the surrounding tube for a consistent, professional result.

Manufactured in Grade 316 Marine Grade stainless steel with a mirror polish finish.
