Anchor Fix Epoxy is the two-part chemical anchoring epoxy used to set stainless steel balustrade posts and frameless glass spigots permanently into pre-drilled holes in concrete, masonry, brick, and stone substrates. If you are installing coredrill posts or spigots, this epoxy is the product that secures them into the drilled hole and transfers the structural load of the balustrade into the substrate below.
The epoxy is supplied in a 300ml dual-cartridge format — the two components are dispensed simultaneously through a mixing nozzle, ensuring they are combined at the correct ratio automatically with no measuring or manual mixing required. Once dispensed into the drilled hole, the post or spigot stem is inserted and held in position while the epoxy cures, locking it permanently in place with a bond strength rated for structural anchoring applications.
This is a fast-curing formulation — once the epoxy is dispensed, working time is limited. Dry-fit all posts and check alignment before opening the cartridge. Have everything positioned, plumbed, and ready to go before you begin dispensing so that each post can be set and held at the correct position without delay.
Cure time before load can be applied is temperature dependent — at typical South African summer temperatures of 25°C–30°C, the epoxy reaches working strength in approximately 40 minutes. In cooler conditions cure time increases significantly, ranging from 60 minutes at 15°C–20°C up to 2–3 hours at 5°C–10°C. Do not apply any load or tension to the balustrade until the epoxy has fully cured for your conditions.
One 300ml cartridge is sufficient for multiple post or spigot installations depending on hole diameter and depth — a useful quantity for a standard residential balustrade project.

Installation Note
Dry-fit all posts and spigots and confirm alignment before dispensing the epoxy — working time is limited once the cartridge is opened. Ensure drilled holes are clean, dry, and free of dust before injecting the epoxy. Cure time before load can be applied is temperature dependent — approximately 40 minutes at 25°C–30°C, 60 minutes at 15°C–20°C, and 2–3 hours at 5°C–10°C. Do not load the post or apply tension to the balustrade until the epoxy has fully cured for your conditions.
