The White Stitched Buffing Wheel is the finishing mop used in the final stage of the stainless steel mirror polishing process. Mounted on a handheld polishing machine via its 12.5mm bore, it is used with white polishing compound to bring up the high-gloss mirror shine on stainless steel after the surface has been cut and prepared with the green sisal wheel and green compound.
The stitched construction of the white wheel makes it firmer than an unstitched mop, allowing it to work the white compound across the surface with consistent pressure and produce an even, uniform mirror finish rather than a patchy or variable result. The firm face of the stitched wheel buffs the surface to a liquid-smooth, highly reflective finish that matches the factory mirror polish of new stainless steel components.
Always use the white wheel as the final step — after the abrasive belts or discs, after the green sisal wheel and green compound, and only once the surface has been correctly refined through all preceding stages. The white wheel finishes; it does not correct.
