Side Mounted Bolt – Allan Key Front – 40mm

The Allan Key Front Side Mounted Bolt fixes 12mm frameless glass panels to a wall or solid structure through a pre-drilled hole in the glass, with the defining feature that it is tightened directly from the front of the bolt face using a hex (allen) key inserted into the socket on the face plate. This allows the bolt to be fully tightened and adjusted from the exterior side of the glass — no access to the rear of the fixing is required during installation or adjustment.

The hex socket on the face is a deliberate, visible detail — a small, precise hexagonal recess centred in the circular face plate that gives the bolt a purposeful, engineered appearance. In installations where the fixing hardware is intended to be part of the design rather than concealed, the allan key front bolt makes a feature of its own tightening mechanism in a clean, considered way.

The front-tightening mechanism also makes this bolt particularly practical for installations where access behind the glass or behind the wall fixing point is limited — the entire tightening operation is completed from the front in a single step.

Available in 316 Marine Grade Mirror Polish and 316 Matt Black only — the allan key front bolt is specified in 316 grade across all finishes, making it the correct choice for all outdoor, coastal, and poolside applications regardless of finish preference.
